geum pink petticoats

Almost seeming to swirl, Geum 'Pink Petticoats' displays ruffled, flamboyant blooms in sumptuous peach-pink shades. With petals clustered around a yellow eye, large semi-double blooms up to 4cm across are held on strong, dark, wiry stems from May to August, above attractive clumps of rounded, lush green, pest-resistant foliage. Loved by florists as a fantastic and unusual addition when cut and added to indoor floral arrangements. Incredibly floriferous, the profusion of blooms will take your breath away while tempting bees and other pollinators in for a closer look. Happy in both borders and containers, Geum 'Pink Petticoats' prefers to be grown in moist, well-drained soil in a sunny or partially shaded position. A fully hardy perennial to -20 C that will become dormant over winter, sprouting with fresh growth in the spring, reaching a height and spread of 30cm each season.
